I was extremely lucky to have Giulia as my teacher in two separate occasions. First, as part of a small group in 2018 and more recently when I was studying for my SIAL exam in February. I thoroughly enjoyed the group lessons with Giulia as part of the first course. It soon became evident that she spent a good amount of time preparing the lessons. The materials she used in every lesson were both relevant and engaging. As a result, she was incredibly successful at keeping everyone interested. The second time, Giulia helped me with the preparation for the SIAL exam. We had some virtual lessons, which turned out to be extremely helpful. Giulia was very good at encouraging me to improve my conversation skills and she was also good at highlighting the areas where I needed some additional work. At the end, I obtained a very high mark, which I can largely attribute to her hard work.

Giulia is a very authentic and intuitive teacher - when the pandemic hit in early 2020, I decided I wanted to study Italian and got connected to Giulia through a common friend. She is a very methodical, highly involved, and a very patient teacher. She also has a very high EQ, which makes for really high comfort levels, which is so important is sustaining a great relationship. This also makes the classes so much more enjoyable! I have loved every session with her- and its that 1 hour of the week that I absolutely look forward to. I have learnt a lot and also glad to have come across a lovely person.

I had the privilege of being Giulia’s student for three Italian courses: One beginner and two intermediate and I cannot speak highly enough of her. Giulia pays equal attention to the content that needs to be taught as well as to a delivery that will reach everyone in class. She prepares thoroughly to achieve a balance of individual student participation, group interaction, direct teacher delivery as well as improving the skills of listening, reading and comprehension. She has the ability to combine patience and friendliness with confidence and trust such that you know she will help equally well with the smallest question that you may be embarrassed to ask as with the more complex questions. She is articulate and attentive and is quick to respond to any hesitation on the part of the student. Her classes pass by quickly, but the process of learning feels very natural and accessible. She is young but thoughtful, very knowledgeable, and capable of maintaining the discipline of a larger group. Giulia also has a background in classics which means that learning Italian with her allows the students who are curious enough access to learning culture and the language comes to life. If you are lucky enough to be taught by her, she will definitely fast become one of your favourite teachers and learning the language will not only seem less daunting but transformed into a joy. Giulia is a fantastic teacher. She is super friendly and easy to get along with. She is very passionate about her work which you can definately feel in her lessons. Always in a good mood and flexible with learning tasks and scheduling. She is very professional and easy to understand. I can't recommend her enough, she is one of the best teachers I’ve had.

Giulia is a responsible and well-qualified tutor. She understands your needs in the language and creates an individual lesson plan according to your gaps. She uses different materials to make the lesson interactive and effective. Also, you can discuss any topic you want to improve your speaking skills. She is a real intellectual who is open to learn from you and your culture and share her knowledge. Having studied with Giulia as a complete beginner for over 3 years I can’t recommend her enough. Giulia is an extremely approachable teacher with a friendly and inspirational outlook on learning Italian whilst having an inside out knowledge of the language itself.
